THE STORY: At a cozy house in the English countryside, five people in a writers’ group meet for a weekend writing marathon, hoping to complete a short story and enter it in a contest. What could be more idyllic? But amid the tea and cakes and conversation, the plumbing breaks, and it’s all downhill after that. Members begin arguing, tensions and suspicions rise, and a 30-year-old mystery is literally unearthed. Enter an intimidating plumber who works round the clock, and the writers find themselves entangled in a murder mystery that’s definitely worth writing about. But is it worth dying over?
